The Lewis & Clark Chapter, founded in Fairview Heights in 1980, has a service area of St. Clair, Monroe, Randolph and Clinton counties in Illinois.

The chapter meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month, except during the summer, at Westminster Church, 1419 North 17th Street, Belleville.  The chapter presents awards (including SAR Outstanding Citizenship, SAR Law Enforcement, SAR Fire Safety, and SAR Heroism and SAR Flag Awards) at a program in early June.  Other events include participation in the Belleville Memorial Day parade, a Christmas party, a Presidents Day Celebration, and a picnic or special outing in May.  The above three officers are board members of the ILSSAR.  Chapter dues, mainly to cover awards and postage, are $20 per year.

For additional information, email or phone Comp. Blanchard at 618-233-5884.
