On May 31st several hundred patriotic citizens assembled at Gig Woods Congregational Church in Aurora, IL to celebrate Revolutionary War Patriot Israel Warner and his family.

There were numerous contributors to the success of the event.  The short list is David W. Nordin, The Northwest Territory Alliance, The River Valley Colonial Fifes and Drums unit, Naperville VFW, BSA Troop #849, GSA Troop #640, Fort Payne Charter DAR, US Army and speaker Lt. Col. John W. Amberg II.  

Thanks to the Fox Valley Chapter members for their attendance in support of the event as well as the ILSSAR Color Guard members that participated in the ceremony.
