Reynolds, Rockford, IL for many years have held a 4th of July flag raising
ceremony and breakfast for friends and neighbors, complete with a bugler.
The Kishwaukee Chapter of ILSSAR recognized their patriotism by presenting
them with a SAR Flag Award. The Kishwaukee Chapter also issued a SAR
Flag Award in October to Brad and Nancy Beard, also of Rockford.
Brad a veteran "feels a strong sense of patriotism. He knows
first hand that Freedom isn't free, and they fly their flag every day as a
reminder," according to his wife, Nancy. |
