Job Description
Global Information Grid (GIG) Service Management-Operations (GSM-O), a Defense and Intelligence Group of Client has an opening for a Active Directory Engineer at Scott AFB, IL.

Client is seeking a Subject Matter Expert with a proven track record designing and deploying Active Directory in a large enterprise with system design/integration experience.

Principle Responsibilities:
- Managing Multiple Domains and Forests (Cisco ESCs and Switch Expert 8.x)
- Managing Groups, Users, Service and Computer Accounts
- Group Policy Management (planning, implementing, and troubleshooting)
- Managing Active Directory Certificate Services
- Supporting Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, Active Directory Federation Service, Single Sign On (SSO)
- Manage identity information across a number of directories utilizing Microsoft Forefront Identity -Manager 2010 (FIM)

Additional Responsibilities:
- Installation of server operating systems
- System design, integration and installation, including;
- Cluster Management software (e.g. Microsoft Cluster Server)
- Database systems (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server)
- Infrastructure Software
- Disaster Recovery design validation and execution
- Vulnerability management principles, proper patch management and deployment
- Asset and Inventory Control
- Server network design
- Server capacity management and planning
- Process Improvement
- Change control, Incident and Problem resolution
- Implementation of requests from other teams and individuals

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 8+ years of overall related experience. 4+ years of additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.
Currently possess an active Secret security clearance and able to gain a Top Secret clearance.
Significant experience in Infrastructure Technology
Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server/Workstation Operating (e.g. Windows 2012, 2008, Windows 2003)
Proven experience working with Microsoft products (e.g. SQL Server, Internet Information Server ? IIS)

Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services
Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 (FIM)
Microsoft Cluster Services
Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services

DoD 8570 IAT II compliant
