The Technical Business Analyst in Security, Risk and Compliance will be responsible for the overall requirements documentation of assigned technical projects. This role will require strategic design and mapping of business requirements and solutions to system/technical requirements.
The Technical BA is responsible for:
? Planning and conducting working sessions with impacted teams to elicit, review and document business and/or technical and/or compliance requirements.
? Translating these requirements into actionable specifications.
? Acting as the subject matter expert for project scope.
? Supporting application and engineering teams in the execution and implementation of the requirements.
? Bachelor's degree or higher (Business or Computer Science)
? 3-5+ yrs. work experience performing BA duties in IT
? 3-5+ yrs. work experience collaborating on projects
? 3+ yrs. work experience in information security
? 8+ yrs. work experience overall
? Problem solving / analytical thinking
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Strong understanding of information security technology products
? Strong knowledge of Excel, Power Point and Visio
? Master's degree

? This is a new position.
? Resource will gather technical and functional requirements from project sponsors in order to define scope of various projects.
? Emphasis is on technical business analysis experience as they must understand different information security technologies and how they work (i.e. someone who has worked with firewalls, encryption, IDS, etc.)
? Not very many functional requirements in this space, other than legal/compliance (i.e. policies for archiving e-mails).
? Important to have worked on a project and know how they run, including familiarity with the positions on a project team and experience collaborating with them.
? Must have excellent communication skills and be able to facilitate a discussion.
? Please only focus on candidates who will not require sponsorship if converted to a FTE, although this is not a guaranteed C2H role.
? This role will be based at our Willis headquarters, but the candidate may be required to travel to Houston occasionally.
? Also, the candidate may need to work out of our Elk Grove office occasionally to meet with certain project stakeholders. This will NOT be considered travel (expensed), but regular commute.
