BS in Chemistry 7+ years experience, MS in Chemistry 2+ years experience. Working knowledge of above instruments, strong lab skills. Strong documentation skills, strong GMP, GLP. May have publications, or experience in presentation of findings to scientific organizations.

Chemist III Staff Polymer Chemist/Engineer - BS, MS in Polymer or Materials Science and Engineering, Polymer Chemistry. Must have current knowledge of polymeric materials in the medical industry and three or more years of experience in polymers characterization. Preferably expertise in the area of injection molding process. As a member of our Materials Characterization Team, you will play a key role in improving product performance by building expertise on the product's materials properties. You will use engineering and analytical principals to work with products, components, and processes in a collaborative environment to implement product improvements. Your focus will be on-market product technical support and improvement, using expertise in polymer analysis, testing, and failure.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE - Conduct chemical analysis of polymers, raw materials, resins and additives; conduct failure analysis related to injection molding or packaging, investigate and identify defects; ensure specifications maintain alignment with customer needs; engage and coordinate activities between cross-functional teams; document analysis and product specifications; safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace.

- Minimum 3 years in an engineering/analytical role
- Must have an experience using FTIR, microscopy, dimensional analysis, surface spectroscopy.

- Bachelor's Degree in STEM, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry or equivalent; demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills; critical thinking skills; ability to design experiments, analyze and interpret data, and document conclusions; ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and to work independently; strong investigative skills, drive to understand and solve problems; propensity for continuous learning and experimentation.
