Job Description Summary
Client has recently introduced its new product launch of Alinity harmonized family of next-generation systems across immunoassay, clinical chemistry, point of care, hematology, blood and plasma screening and molecular diagnostics. With this further launch worldwide, this specific position will help in the development of transfer prices across the entire supply chain of Diagnostics.
The Financial Analyst will execute and support transfer price setting process for affiliates in Europe, Asia Pacific, Japan, Latin America, Canada, manufacturing sites, and distribution centers. The transfer price setting process involves the use of a daily model (TPSS) and other key data gathering requirements. Other activities beyond support of new product launch will be the involvement to provide an up to date gap analysis on what Transfer Prices are missing to be aligned with launch schedule.
The position interfaces with multiple Divisional Teams (e.g. Supply Chain, Master Data, Commercial), Area HQ Commercial Finance Directors/Controllers, Affiliate Country Controllers, and Plant Controllers.
Core Job Responsibilities:
? Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
? Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.
? Provide shared service and support to multiple Client divisions (ADD, AMD, APOC) and new acquisition/divestiture.
? Establish and provide daily transfer prices to international affiliates, manufacturing sites, distribution centers and US commercials on a per request basis.
? Exercises discretion as to the distribution of transfer prices to preapproved requesters, as this data is extremely sensitive in nature.
? Verifying the accuracy of average selling prices as this can adversely affect the net income of the marketing affiliates and consequently increase Client's tax liability to that country where the Client affiliate resides.
Position Accountability / Scope:
Operates independently within own scope of responsibility under general supervision; works within the framework of established policies, procedures and guidelines; develop recommendations to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity for review by more senior analysts. Transfer Price data is extremely sensitive and requires due diligence to ensure accuracy. Any failure to achieve results may cause adverse impact to projects and/or financials.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience required;
Minimum Experience / Training Required:
EXCEL, SAP, Microsoft Access are required and working knowledge of Transfer Price used to support Inter-Company Supply Chain
General 1-3 years of business experience necessary to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position. Candidate / incumbent should possess the following:
