The HR Specialist I (LATAM) is regionally based and collaborates closely with the HR Operations Manager for the region, the whole HR Operations team, but also with country HR, Payroll, Business Technology Systems leaders, COE experts as well as external vendor partners in regards to HR service delivery excellence.

It's critical to understand business needs and best practice HR processes in order to ensure our HR operations and related service delivery capabilities are efficient and compliant. This role has responsibility for defined countries within the region. In this role you will be part of the global HR Operations team and report into the regional HR Operations Manager.
In this position you will act with a high level of accountability of requests to ensure that escalations and projects are completed within sustainable solutions and within appropriate timelines. You must have the ability to effectively interact and manage stakeholder relationships and identify/translate their business needs/requirements, and transform those requirements into system and HR services solutions.


As HR Specialist I (LATAM) it will be critical to understand HR processes, as well as varying business needs and priorities to align our HR operational priorities and ensure stakeholder expectations are met. A continuous improvement mindset is key.

Responsibilities will include:
? Primary liaison to our HR business partners in defined geography ensuring alignment of HR Operations support to business HR strategies
? Quickly respond to customer escalations and institute recovery plans.
? Conduct root cause analysis to determine possible solutions, identify training needs or process/documentation improvements.
? This includes effective communication across multiple groups internally and externally (service vendor) to ensure execution of business results.
? Track if key Service Level Agreements, quality targets and Key Performance Indicators with external vendors are met and manage corrective actions in case of discrepancies.
? Track service center ticket system and ensure that we provide timely customer support and manage escalations appropriately
? Act as Regional Subject Matter Expert for configuration of reports out of Workday and translation of data analysis requirements into reporting solutions
? Manage to consistently meet or exceed our internal customer (employee, manager, BHRs and business leadership) expectations by leveraging HR Operations and related Shared Services organization (Finance/Payroll and BTS partnerships) as enablers for COEs and BHRs to fulfill their designated strategic roles.
? Work with HR Operations team to establish standards and practices, while understanding and allowing for necessary flexibility to respond to specific business needs, local requirements and unexpected circumstances, as required.

? Minimum 2 years of experience in HR and HR Operations support (preferred in a complex environment)
? 2 years of experience in a customer service environment is required
? Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree.
o Candidates who have 5 ? 7 years' experience without no degree will be considered
? Experience in HR and Payroll systems (like Workday, Taleo, euHReka) and related data management and vendor management systems
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand data gaps and root of source data.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Experience in effective stakeholder management with a bias towards delivering superior customer service.
? Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese is required
? Strong grasp of employee population and local practices in Latin America
? Understanding of nuances for union based employees in Latin America
Knowledge of economies and governmental complexities in Latin America is required
