Must be a US Citizen who must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; a current Department of Defense Secret clearance (or higher) is preferred.
Four (4) year college degree from an accredited institution (in accounting or business management related field from an accredited institution.)
Four (4) years of professional experience in a relevant field
Candidate responsibilities will include:
Copy editing for written materials
Meeting minutes during senior executive meetings and tracking action items
Develops briefing material for large-scale events
Coordinates logistics for program-wide events and training sessions
Collects feedback from large events and trainings and presents a consolidated feedback presentation to leadership
Performs quality checks on individual work products/deliverables
Complies with tasks/assignments as designated by team lead
Builds credibility, rapport, and trust with client
Attributes, Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with copy editing
Experience with Associated Press (AP) writing style
Strong writing skills and very detail oriented
Experience coordinating and facilitating large corporate events
Comfortable synthesizing large amounts of data and analyzing data for trends
Comfortable taking meetings minutes during fast-pace meetings
Intermediate PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills
Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable communicating with peers and leadership
ALL resources must have the baseline experience:
Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance ? DoD Secret clearance preferred
Ability to multitask and work independently
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)
Training A minimum of 20 CPE credits each fiscal year and 120 CPE credits over a three-year rolling period.
Clearance Minimum of IT3 (Public Trust)or equivalent with the ability to obtain an IT2 if the government requests.
Other Desired Experience GAAP / GAGAS / ICOFR experience ? OMB Circulars A-123, A-127, A-134, A-136 and other OMB policies FASAB, SSAC, and SFFAS experience ? DoD and DLA financial management policies and procedures ? DLA policies, systems and procedures for personnel, acquisition, inventory, property and material management ? Familiarity with FMS ? CPA, CIA, CISA, CDFM, or CGFM certification
