Description
Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident Alien status with three or more years of U.S. residency as a Permanent Resident Alien is required. An Active IRS MBI is preferred; however, any selected candidate without an MBI will need to obtain one prior to starting the position.

Statement of Work:
MeF is a platform for electronically filing returns with the IRS. It provides SOA based web services that filers use to submit returns, and provides web applications for IRS users to work with the returns. MeF validates filed returns, determines their disposition, and interfaces with other IRS systems for downstream processing of the returns. The client developed and enhanced MeF since 2001.

Task Description:
Develop and extend the MeF infrastructure architecture, maintain the infrastructure lifecycle documentation and infrastructure requirements, support migration from Solaris to Linux, provide direction for moving MeF to the Cloud, and make recommendations for increasing MeF DevOps maturity.

Primary Duties:
?Develop and extend MeF infrastructure solution architectures ? estimated 30%
?Schedule delivery of, develop and maintain infrastructure documentation - estimated 20%
?Manage a team of three senior infrastructure architects and coordinate team activities ? estimated 15%
?Provide LoE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs ? estimated 5%
?Maintain Infrastructure requirements in CLM DOORS NG client repository ? estimated 10%
?Support migrating from Solaris to Linux ? estimated 5%
?Provide recommendations/architectural options for migrating MeF to the cloud ? estimated 10%
?Provide recommendations for implementing DevOps practices on MeF ? estimated 5%

Required Skills:
?Developed infrastructure architectures for large, complex programs - 10+ years
?Experience maintaining infrastructure requirements and traceability against business and application requirements for large, complex Java EE applications? 3+ years
?Experience with information security for large, highly sensitive Java applications ? 2+ years
?Experience with CM tools, such as Rational ClearCase ? 3+ years
?Experience developing (V)ROM estimates in response to requests for new work ? 3+ years
?Experience with infrastructure products, including JBoss EAP, IBM MQ, and IBM BigFix - 2+ years
?Experience with migrating from one Unix variant to the Linux platform ? 3+ years
?Experience migrating applications to the cloud ? 3+ years
?Experience with private cloud implementations and related virtualization and containerization designs - 2+ years
?Experience supporting the migration of monolithic applications to microservices - 2+ years
?Experience in implementing DevOps on complex projects ? 2+ years

Preferred Skills:
?Experience maintaining requirements in DOORS NG ? 2+ years
?Experience with CMMI Level 3 Process Areas ? 2+ years
