Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects within the information technology department. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. May require a bachelor's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

• Develop and implement multiple project schedules to meet deadlines, ensuring the projects remain within budget and on time
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the assigned projects
• Capable to step into a new area, providing support and coverage whenever needed
• Be adaptable, flexible, and motivate the team to find successful solutions
• Travelling may be required at different occasions
• Manage the intake process, working through the PMO processes to initiate projects, estimates, all the way through the final approvals for funding
• Simultaneously manage multiple project updates through the established PMO tools and processes
• Using the Agile methodology adopted by the ESS organization, manage assigned projects to ensure prioritized work is being completed
• Execute and lead iteration planning sessions for multiple teams
• Knowledgeable and proficient with the tools adopted to help manage the processes: TFS, Excel, MS Project, etc.
• Ensure the processes and standards adopted are effectively applied
• Knowledgeable of the work being managed
• Efficient use of time to obtain results and responses
• Learns and shares knowledge, capable of effectively training other team members on established process and tools for the organization

Required Skills
• Capable of succinct communication with all levels of employees and management, speaks and writes clearly
• Well acquainted with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and their implementations within the teams
• Delivers quality work on time, following applicable established procedures and methodologies
• Proactively monitors and controls work status to anticipate and address roadblocks, appropriately communicating and resolving (or escalating) issues
• Once given direction, can effectively execute without supervision, retaining accountability for the work
• Committed to continuous self-improvement, understands that different situations and levels may call for different skills and approaches
• Knowing personal strengths and weaknesses, works on compensating, seeks feedback, gains insights from mistakes, and is open to criticism without being defensive
Certified Scrummaster and/or experience strongly preferred
Agile PM and/or certification preferred

• Candidate must have strong PowerPoint skills
• Will be creating a lot of presentations for the director
• Should be proficient in the use of SharePoint
• Working with a very analytical team at UA
• Will be helping with that analysis and planning out some of the work being done there
• Strong emphasis on being able to pull things together and analyze what needs to be done
• Required to take direction from managers and work independently
