Description
Engineering participation in a corporate migration to Skype for Business (On-Premises and to Office 365); Engineering participation in migrating from Exchange 2010 into Office 365; Create automated processes around license and mailbox provisioning; Assist existing Exchange and Lync Operations team with escalations, work with existing Exchange and Lync Operations teams to ensure both teams are in sync and up to date with current engineering activities; deliver cross-training with existing Operations teams for Office 365; Implementing changes related to Exchange and Lync in the environment.

3 to 5 years' experience with Skype for Business both on-premises and in Office 365 including voice, video, and UC; 3 to 5 years' experience with Exchange Server 2010/2016 and Exchange On-Line/O365; Engage with business partners and come up with e-mail and IM solutions based on their requirements; Create appropriate process documentation to ensure that routine tasks are done in a consistent and predictable manner; Work with the appropriate Operations teams with developing process for day to day tasks and be available to assist when issues are escalated; Office 365 Global Admin experience. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, etc...) required.

Expert level knowledge of Microsoft technologies including: Sites and Services, Authentication across Forest and Domain Trusts, Windows and DNS. Expert level knowledge of Windows server operating systems (2003/2008 R2/2012); Experience with complex e-mail filtering rules; Experience with AD RMS or Azure Information Protection; Experience with Data Loss Prevention; Must possess advanced troubleshooting skills including DNS issues, NetMon capture; Strong PowerShell scripting skills; Strong documentation skills; Excellent people skills and a willingness to work with different teams across the Enterprise. This role will require excellent soft skills including the ability to deliver informal training and the ability to support escalations from the Operations team. The candidate must be willing and able to work in a very-process oriented environment.
