Description
Senior PM will deliver impactful projects/programs as assigned, and serve as change agent driving adoption of PMLC across the organization.

? Responsible to provide direction, prioritization and structure to enable efficient implementation of assigned projects and initiatives
? Responsible for directing the implementation of strategic planning, leading and directing all aspects of major, diverse, and highly complex programs impacting the operation
? Owns hands-on delivery of programs
? Provides specialized technical aviation knowledge or equivalent, program management expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to facilitate the identification and management of all interdependencies and areas of risk
? Will adhere to the UA Program Management Life Cycle framework and all policy, procedure, guidelines as applicable

KEY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
? 40% - Lead and manage projects as assigned, both tactical and strategic
? 40% - Deliver high quality artifacts and outcome through all phases of PMLC including Envision, Design, Build, and Activate as needed to realize measurable business results
? 10% - Coach, guide, train project team members and other PMs on EDBA, PMLC and related artifacts and deliverables
? 10% - Assist team members and research operational and performance data to provide statistics, trends, and reporting that inform leadership steering and decision-making, and as assigned

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
? Undergraduate degree in business, technical, or aviation related discipline required
? Advanced degree preferred
? Project Management (PMI) Certification (Preferred)
? Lean Six Sigma certification

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
? Experience managing multiple large, complex projects across multiple functions
? Experience managing and mentoring project management staff
? Proven expertise successfully managing business and technical resources under an integrated project plan to ensure the alignment of resources
? Experience presenting, escalating, and providing solutions to senior leadership
? Demonstrated experience delivering measurable business benefit through project execution
? Strong interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills
? Demonstrated proficiency in facilitating, delegating and motivating cross functional groups or activities
? Exposure with change management/facilitation, enterprise communication and training
? Highly organized, and the ability to multi-task competing priorities
? Provide leadership, guidance, influence and mentoring for project teams
? Experience with process/system mapping and analysis
? Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities

EXPERIENCE
? 7+ years work experience
? 5+ years managing projects
? Demonstrated successful project delivery using fundamentals of PMBOK practices/methodologies
? Demonstrated successful execution using SDLC, PMLC, DMAIC or DFSS methodology
? Must be legally authorized to work in the Client States for any employer without sponsorship
? Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
? Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
? Has discretion in making tactical decisions; provides input on strategic decisions to management as required. Decisions and achievement of results could have a significant impact on the group's overall performance. Effects could be long-lasting; expected to be creative to develop high-impact changes in processes or strategies.

**ADDITIONAL NOTES FROM HIRING MANAGER**
? Will assist the Overall Program Manager in managing 3 major projects (~$700M) in 3 hubs for baggage handling systems ? airline baggage experience a plus
? Implement initiatives and manage team to plan, design and execute airport and commercial property facility and infrastructure construction projects ? ***NOT an IT PM, more of a Construction PM***
? Understanding of controls, system dynamics
? Needs to have a good understanding of politics, knowing when to push and when not to, etc.
? Experience working cross-functionally
? Manage development, programming, planning, design, construction, schedule and budget related issues that pose challenges to the success of the project by drawing on knowledge of the planning, design, construction process knowledge and experience
? Accountable for compliance with budget, schedule and scope of the projects per the approved business case requirements including benefits realized
? Ensure governance of the PMLC (UA), artifacts, and guidelines ? more PMBOK
? Responsible for the utilization of any PMLC process and standards
? Manages and audits PMLC deliverables
? Responsible for the utilization of Project Database, PM Artifacts, workflows, forms, Project Management Guidelines, etc. by self and team
? Use and ensure utilization of project tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Oracle and others as defined by need
? Ensure that projects meet defined metrics
? Responsible and accountable for transparent, accurate, consistent project reporting (weekly, monthly and quarterly)
? 40-50% travel required between Chicago, Dulles, and Denver
? Please focus on candidates that will not require sponsorship if converted to a FTE
? Manager will complete phone screens, followed by onsite interviews
? Attached project deliverable template must be completed for candidate to be considered
