Research and Development Laboratory Technician I
The client is seeking a motivated individual to fill the Laboratory Technician role in the GCLO Dispensing Lab. This position would be directly responsible for precision weighing and solvating of small molecule compounds. The successful candidate will be expected to be proficient at maintaining a high level of concentration and attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.

High output massing of compounds on precision balance equipment
Receiving and stocking of laboratory supplies
Disposal of laboratory waste products
Participate in writing of SOPs and continuous improvement efforts
Scanning of barcoded inventory to verify and update location
Retrieval of inventory for pending orders

AS or relevant work experience
Ability to prioritize effectively and multi-task within an environment of shifting deadlines and demands
Familiarity with laboratory techniques and practices
Ability to stay on task for extended periods of time

BS or 1-4 years of experience in compound management or a related field
Accustomed to spending extended periods of time performing repetitive tasks
Demonstrated problem solving skills with strong oral and written communication skills
Able to work independently and within a team setting

Significant Work Activities and Conditions
