We have a new position that just opened at the IMF that we are trying to fill, a Senior Business Analyst with Document Management System experience.
They MUST have experience with an enterprise wide Document Management System implementation or upgrade. They are looking for very strong experience eliciting and gathering challenging requirements and subsequently documenting the requirements. Must be technical enough to work with onshore and offshore development teams. Must be independent enough to manage meetings, run JAD sessions and work with upper level management. Proven enterprise/large corporate experience required along with experience in an Agile environment. Candidate must work onsite in Washington, DC. Superior communication skills, both written (i.e. resume and requirement documents) and oral, are an absolute must.

Bachelors in EE, CS, Math or Related Field
Leadership experience as a Business Analyst is needed to work independently running large enterprise-wide Document Management Systems project.
Experience with at least one Document Management project from an end-user point of view. Experience with the conversion of an enterprise-wide document management system moving to SharePoint a plus.
Leadership experience includes working independently with senior stakeholders, directing other Business Analysts, leading large enterprise-wide projects from a Business Analyst perspective.
Superior communication skills are must
Able to effectively communicate with peers and subordinates and IMF management both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work with clients, vendors, and management to obtain outstanding results.
Works on complex or enterprise-wide problems and develops solutions.
Working experience in an Agile environment
Viewed as an expert in multiple fields. Ability to lead and supervise Application Developers.
Consultative direction towards predetermined goals and objectives
Interacts with customers in defining requirements and strategies and in resolving problems and support issues.
Applies advanced technical expertise to define architecture requirements and establishing standards for design and development in order to promote high system performance, maintainability, extensibility, and compatibility with related systems.
May act as a team leader in prioritizing group tasks, determining individual assignments, and reviewing work of lower-level developers.
Provides or contributes to product demonstrations, technology seminars, and review of emerging technologies.
Requires detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the IMFs business objectives.
Excellent knowledge of and extensive experience developing applications in a variety of programming languages, operating systems and computer platforms.
Expert and comprehensive functional knowledge of application area, to which the incumbent is assigned, e.g. document management systems, economic systems, and administrative/financial systems.
Expert knowledge of emerging tools and technologies and their application.
