Position Description
The candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and COTS applications on a Production environment for the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) customer. He/she will provide the technical solution to complex issues and be able to work independently to accomplish tasks in a timely manner. The environment being managed consists of Apple OS X, Windows and Linux based systems. Additionally, the administrator will be required to manage enterprise level Network Storage devices (NetApp, Hitachi Content Platform) and perform general maintenance on Network equipment to include both fiber channel and copper. The administrator will be primarily responsible for the management and maintenance of the Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) and Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP) platforms.

Required Skills
?Working knowledge of VMWare vSphere
?Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows administration
?Working knowledge of Apple OS X administration
?Working knowledge of Red Hat Linux administration
?Basic knowledge of networking protocols and network administration
?Advanced knowledge of Hitachi Data Systems (HDS)
?Advanced knowledge of Hitachi Unified Compute Platform (UCP)

Preferred Skills
?Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Group Policies
?Experience in shell and bash scripting
?Experience in performing System Administration in Unix/Linux environment
?Experience with Brocade and Cisco switches - CCNA a plus
?Familiar with CIS Benchmark standards

Provide primary job duties:
1. With minor guidance, interface with stakeholders to investigate/troubleshoot production issues to include Hardware, Software (Application and Operating System) and Network (50%).
2. Install software deliveries, fixes, and releases in accordance with established software deployment processes (30%)
3. Work independently or alongside the client to perform system ingests of data (10%).
4. Perform capacity management, update system documentation, and provide system metrics/reporting (10%).
