Statement of Work:
Work cross-functionally with engineers, software developers, and end-users to design, implement, and maintain customers' application systems and IT infrastructure for highly complex systems. Create IT system architecture concepts, implement approved designs, and evaluate new changes to current architecture

Task Description:
Experience in Windows and/or Unix/Linux server administration in either or both physical and virtualized environments. Demonstrated experience with scripting (Visual Basic (VB), Practical Extraction and Report Language (PERL), shell, etc.), customer service and support and a working knowledge of IT security concepts and best practices. Familiarity with Windows Active Directory and Group Policy Objects, working knowledge of concepts such as Transmission Control/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Domain Name Services (DNS), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), firewalls, Local and Wide Area Networks, experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS), and knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle, etc.). Troubleshoots software, hardware, and network issues, and addresses trouble tickets and service tasks. Configures web/database/mail/ftp servers, firewalls, Virtual Private Network (VPN), etc., manages DNS records, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Certificates, crontab entries, and Linux/Windows user accounts.

Required skills/Level of Experience :
Active TS/SCI security clearance required
Amazon Web Services Working Experience with C2S, DI2E, GovCloud
Big Data Applications (Hadoop HDFS, Accumulo, Spark, Streaming, Kafka, Cassandra)
Development Operations and related tools (JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Kubernetes)

Nice to have skills:
DoD/IC experience with systems engineering in the process areas of Architecture, Requirements, Portfolio Management, or User Engagement
Demonstrated experience providing support to all aspects of system development from analysis of needs to verification of system performance
Awareness and use of key community reference models/frameworks (DoDAF, JARM, FEA-CRM)
Experience in the following technologies/languages/formats (Desired)
AWS Certified Solutions Architect ? Professional
Development Operations and related tools (JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Docker, etc.)
AWS EMR, S3, EC2 and other related managed services
Experience with iterative development and software CM processes and tools
