Collins Consulting, Inc. is a proven IT systems integrator and strategic sourcing provider bringing together the responsiveness of a small business coupled with the capabilities of some of the world's largest and most successful Federal Systems Integrators. Founded in 1992 Collins' business has expanded to include over 80 commercial clients and government agencies doing work in more than 35 states.
We currently have an opening for a full-time Technical Recruiter. Responsibilities include recruiting technical personnel, at various levels of experience. Recruiters evaluate candidates against position requirements in order to facilitate the hire of the most qualified personnel for our clients' projects.
Compensation includes a competitive base salary, commission, and benefits including paid time off, medical insurance including prescription and vision. A dental plan and 401(k) are also offered.
Qualified candidates for the Recruiter position will:
Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools Evaluate candidates' strengths compared with clients requirements by evaluating, screening, and interviewing the candidate.
Negotiate compensation and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements.
Complete necessary pre-employment processes including reference checks.
Work with Managers to identify top accounts, Client skill sets, key market segments, and to assess clients staffing requirements.
Communicate with peers to share best recruiting practices and providing accurate documentation on contract employees in applicant tracking systems or other tools.
You must have the desire to be the best in the industry and possess the ability to think on your feet. You must be self-driven and have the ability and passion to continually learn new technologies.
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Previous technical recruiting experience.
Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively using the phone.
Excellent Internet skills.
Be familiar with MS Office (Word, Outlook), Internet Explorer.
Use of online databases or applicant tracking systems a plus.
Recruiters will work onsite at our Schaumburg office location.
