Required Skills (degrees, certifications, licenses etc.)
?Experience working within Linux/Unix systems environment.
?Experience providing systems and applications support for complex, high-reliability systems and architectures supporting video services or back-offices.
?Knowledge management of video systems and applications including VOD, SDV, Conditional Access, Edge QAMs and Back-Office systems.
?Experience working with Conditional Access controllers such as Cisco DNCSs and Arris DACs.

Associate Engineer in Video Support Center-Systems is responsible for trouble resolution using Remedy Support Ticketing, operations and maintenance of systems, applications and equipment used in the provisioning and delivery of Interactive Services by providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for all video systems within the Client Video Systems. The video systems included in this team's purview include Video Back-Office Systems, Conditional Access Systems (CAS = DAC / DNCS), Switched Digital Video Systems (SDV), Video on Demand Systems (VOD) and QAM services (GQAM, CASA, NSG). The Engineers are responsible for reliable, consistent operation of these systems to provide a quality entertainment and information experience for our customers. This position is part of a team providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for the resolution of outages and service impairments in a 24x7x365 operation for the assigned shift.

Basic Qualifications
?Minimum 1 Year of knowledge of Unix/Linux based client/server systems and applications
?Minimum 1 Year of knowledge of application configuration, programming, installation, and maintenance
?Must be able to work various shifts, and be flexible with work schedule
?Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience

Additional Job Requirements
?Experience working within Linux/Unix systems environment.
?Experience providing systems and applications support for complex, high-reliability systems and architectures supporting video services or back-offices.
?Knowledge management of video systems and applications including VOD, SDV, Conditional Access, Edge QAMs and Back-Office systems.
?Must be able to commit to any of the following shifts, which are subject to change;
Shift A - 1st shift, Team 1 ? Sunday - Wednesday (7 AM to 6 PM)
Shift A - 2nd shift Team 1 ? Wednesday - Saturday (7 AM to 6 PM)
Shift A ? 3rd shift Team 1 ? Sunday - Wednesday (10 PM to 9 AM)-Will be determined by the client.
Shift B ? 1st shift Team 2 ? Sunday - Wednesday (1 PM to 12 AM)
Shift B ? 2nd shift Team 2 ? Wednesday - Saturday (1 PM to 12 AM)
Shift B ? 3rd shift Team 2 ? Wednesday - Saturday (10 PM to 9 AM)-Will be determined by the client.

Crossover Shift ? Monday - Friday (9 AM to 6 PM)
Typically, most shifts are 1st and 2nd shifts.

Preferred Qualifications
?Working experience within Telecommunications industry.
?System Administration of complex Unix environments and associated certifications (RHCSA, RHCE) (not required, desirable).
?Knowledge of Video Solutions and technologies; that includes MPEG2, MPEG4, transcoding, IP Video Delivery solutions, LAN/WAN design and operations, HFC networks, IP Multi-cast.
?Experience working with Conditional Access controllers such as Cisco DNCSs and Arris DACs.
?Prefer local Denver Candidates, remote candidates open for hire based on skill and desire to potentially relocate to Denver.
